I just found an amazing Web site called www.freerangekids.com. It’s nice to know there are other parents who consider giving their kids the freedom to be kids a blessing, instead of a sin.

The Manhattan journalist who created the site, Lenore Skenazy, was called the Worst Mom in America for letting her nine-year-old kid ride the subway home by himself and then writing about it.

It’s been quite a couple of weeks around here and I think we’re all ready for a break.

 A flooded barn, a sick goat and now a missing hen —trouble has always come in threes in my life.
