New header and photos on the home page
August 13th, 2010You may have noticed that the header and some of the photos are new. And you may assume that Paul , being an award winning fine art photographer may have taken them.
Well actually our new friend and great photographer Katie Sullivan took them last week at our farm tour. So a big thanks goes out to her and the wonderful new photos. Enjoy!

Farm tour is a huge success
August 8th, 2010Our first (annual?!) farm tour was a huge success. What started out as a small get-together of some other small scale producers turned in a rather larger gathering of people of all ages from all walks of life.

2010 hogs

We just got our new weaner pigs from the breeder. They are just too cute and will taste delicious in a couple of months.

Farm Tour: August 7th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
July 18th, 2010On August 7th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm we will be offering a free farm tour thanks to a grant from Western SARE.
We will have a tour of our entire farm (free lunch is included)
This will be a great time to bring the whole family out to our microfarm to see how we do everything.

Well we made it thru the Blossom Fest. The cold weather and rain keep both the crowds away and the sales down but any times we get to visit Canon City is a good thing.Our Strawberry plants were a huge and frankly sort of surprise hit.
